Here’s a 2022 repress of the 1977 debut album from the UK band The Clash. Pressed in the EU it includes the original songs in the original order — when released in the US in 1979 this was not the case. The vinyl is a transparent pink. Credits “Tory Crimes” as drummer, not his actual name, Terry Chimes. As he had decided to leave the band by the time the front jacket picture was taken Chimes is not included. The stairs in the photo, taken by photographer Kate Simon, were in the alley across from the band’s rehearsal space in the Camden markets.
