Besides Houston features tracks from Kenny G & Aaron Neville, along with fellow Arista artists Lisa Stanfield & the Soul System, along with Joe Cocker, who performed the theme in a track featuring Canadian performer Sass Jordan. It peaked at number one in 21 countries, & was number one on the Billboard 200 for twenty non-consecutive weeks. On the Billboard Decade chart for the nineties it ranks number two. Along with a Juno Award & Brit Award it won the Grammy for Album of the Year. With an estimated global sales of 45 million copies, it’s certified 19x platinum in the US, & diamond in Canada.
