Andre Gagnon — Neiges

1975 release from the Quebec composer, conductor & arranger. As with many of his works it’s a combination of pop and classical styles, & includes elements of soul, funk, jazz, & even disco music. The album stayed on the Billboard top ten charts for 24 weeks. 1977 it won the Juno Award for Best (Selling) Album, with 700 000 global copies sold. As one might expect the gatefold text is in French, as is the record centre labels, & the sides are listed as “Face A” & “Face B”.
