Debut album from the country band that, despite its name, was formed in Nashville, Tennessee. At nine full-time members it was one of the largest country bands. Includes their debut single, “Atlanta Burned Again Last Night”, which spent seventeen weeks on the Billboard country singles charts, peaking at number nine. Released originally before the band signed with MCA, it was one of the highest charting debut singles by an independent country act. “Sweet Country Music” followed, and hit number 5 on the same chart. The album peaked at 8 on the Top Country chart, & 140 on the Billboard 200. In Canada it peaked at 6 on the country album charts.
