This album is considered Joel’s critical & commercial breakthrough, and spent six weeks on the Billboard 200  at the number 2 spot. All four US-released singles hit the top-40, and the album won two Grammys, for Record of the Year & Song of the Year for the single “Just The Way You Are. It also hit number two on the charts in Australia & Canada. Certified 12x platinum in the US & 5x platinum in Canada.
