31st studio album for the folk and pop singer. First (of nine) albums he would record with his Never Ending Tour road band. Recorded in just 12 days. Dylan consented to a number of international interviews to promote the album, which was unusual for him, but may have contributed to the commercial success in Europe the album enjoyed. At home it won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album, and was further nominated for Album of the Year, with the track “Honest With Me” nominated for Best Rock Vocal Performance. Certified gold in the UK & the US.
