The seventh studio album for the long-running band from Los Angeles. Their first double album, & first studio album since 1979’s The Long Run. Six years in the making, it was also the last with Glenn Frey. Debuting number 1 on the Billboard chart, even though for the first year after it was released it was only available through the band’s website or Wal-Mart stores.  It won Grammys in both 2008 & 2009, and was nominated for several more. Certified 7x platinum in the US.
