Third solo studio album released by the artist. Lead song, & single, “The Old Man Down The Road” was Fogerty’s only top ten hit as a solo artist. This was Fogerty’s first album in nine years. Thanks to overdubs Fogerty played all the instruments on the album. The closing track “Vanz Kant Danz” was originally called “Zanz Kant Danz” but was altered after a defamation lawsuit from Saul Zaentz, owner of Fantasy records, with whom Fogerty had been engaged in legal conflicts for quite some time. Double platinum in the US.
