John Mellencamp — Mr Happy Go Lucky

Fourteenth studio album from the artist, his last containing all original songs with Mercury before signing with Columbia Records, and his first after suffering a minor heart attack. It’s said the music reflects his brush with death. The cover artwork did attract some attention and was changed at the behest of Walmart stores in later versions. The album peaked at 9 on the Billboard 200 and 11 on the Canadian Top Album chart, & was certified platinum in both countries.
