Second studio album from the Canadian new wave band from Toronto. It included “Motorbikin’”, a cover of the 1976 hit by UK guitarist Chris Spedding. There was actually two “Martha’s” in the band, lead vocalist Martha Johnson, & vocalist & keyboard player Martha Ladly. Ladly, who also did the front jacket cover painting, left the band between the recording and release of this album after receiving an art scholarship. In 2012 Ladly became Dean of Graduate Studies at OCAD, the Ontario College of Art & Design, where she is still an associate professor of design specializing in interactive communication. The band had debuted at a OCAD Halloween party back in 1977, a year before Ladly joined.
