Third studio album from the Genesis drummer. A more upbeat and dance-oriented album compared to Collins’s previous work. Guest vocalists included Peter Gabriel & Sting. The album was number one for five consecutive weeks in the UK & seven weeks in the US. All four singles hit the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In the UK it was the second highest-selling album of 1985, behind Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits. With global sales of approximately 25 million copies, it was certified 12x platinum in the US, 6x platinum in the UK, & diamond in Canada.
