Second release from the Vancouver BC folk band. Album sides are labelled “Won Ton” & “To Fu”. Includes the track, “A Fear Of Flying”, written by member Joe Mock. Shortly after this release Shari Ulrich would depart, to join artist Valdy’s band, The Hometown Band. Ulrich would take “Fear Of Flying” with her, renamed simply as “Flying” which would be The Hometown Band’s first single, and the title track to their debut album, released later that year. As a duo, Joe Mock & Rick Scott would continue to tour and record, as Pied Pear, for another eight years. All three members would reunite in 1998, & their 2007 children’s album, Pied Pumkids, won the Canadian Folk Music Award for Children’s Album of the Year.
Rick Scott passed away on August 1, 2025, aged 77.
