Eighth studio album by the country rock band, named for a fictional temperance league in the 1939 Errol Flynn cowboy movie, Dodge City. At the time of the release pre-solo career Vince Gill was lead vocalist & principal songwriter, featured as backing vocals on the album is wife Janis Gill, who was also one half of the duo Sweethearts Of The Rodeo. The album reached 37 on the Billboard pop charts, while singles “I’m Almost Ready” & “Let Me Love You Tonight” were Top 40 pop hits, the latter reaching number one on the Adult Contemporary chart as well.
