Fifth solo album from the former member of the Byrds. Was to be like his previous album a collaboration with producer Mark Ronson but that fell through so McGuinn put together a band named Thunderbyrd & recorded this album with them. Includes a cover of Tom Petty’s “American Girl” which had been released the year before. Mcguinn’s last solo album until 1991’s Back From Rio.
