The Guess Who — American Woman

Seventh studio album by the rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba overall, the third under that specific name. Starting out as Chad Allan & The Expressions, they also released two albums as The Guess Who?, including one split album with the band The Staccatos, who themselves would find international fame under the name The Five Man Electrical Band. The album contained two singles, including “No Time”, which had also earlier appeared on the band’s album Canned Wheat, and the title track, which hit number one in both Canada & the US. The album was also a number one at home, hitting number 9 on the Billboard 200 charts. Certified gold in the US, & platinum in Canada.
