The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Canadian charts. It’s been certified diamond in Canada & 12 platinum in the US. Originally released in North America on CD & cassette only, (additionally on LP in Europe) when the film came out in 1994, it finally was released on LP in the US in a limited edition in 2014, & wide release in 2022.
